Older applications often do not show the "recent files" list in the file chooser. With Red Folders desktop organizer, the recent folders are on your desktop - this is often one click away, or, if not, you press the "up" button until it is reached - this is much faster than folder navigation.
Installation is straightforward. Download the installer file and execute it. The program will run automatically after system reboot. You see that the program is running from the red folder in your system tray.
Once the program is running, you will see shortcuts to the folders you are working in on your desktop. You recognize the Red Folders Desktop Organizer shortcuts because they are big and colourful. The folders are updated each minute.
Maybe there will show up folders you have never heard of. Your system uses them. Don't worry: Red folders desktop organizer makes it easy for you to get rid of them.
If you don't want a shortcut, you can ban it from your desktop. Right-click on a folder and choose "send to – add to banned Red Folders list." If you have banned folders and you want to have them back, right-click on the red folders symbol in the system tray and choose “edit banned folders list”.
In the system tray, you can also set the maximum number of shortcuts which the program creates on your desktop.
